I will say one thing... lets be honest that simply taking power in congress does not give democrats the ability to actually fix any of this... it will help staunch the bleeding but getting the economy under control requires the executive and even then will likely take years to repair

Unfortunately these prices are the new norm. That inflation percentage is a rate of prices in reading. You can lower inflation to, say 3%, but it's still rising by 3%. If you have deflation (a negative percentage) then that's actually a very bad thing and we'd have much bigger problems than the cost of food.

I remember after the election when we were faced with another Trump presidency 😭 Zack did a Tik Tok stating that MAGA would never see the light unless things got really bad and that's what he was hoping for. (which I think is right as MAGA is hard headed) but if Dems take back Congress and the Senate how do they "stop" Trump. I know there will be hearings etc. but how do they take back power of the purse or end the war? What would that look like? OR is it better to just let things continue to blow up as Trump will NOT work with a Dem led Congress? I know we'd be able to stop him going forward but can we start to actually turn things around? Sorry it's so long 😅
