@itstherespawn: Rockstar's heads of development say the studio's next game won't take another eight years to make, a promise reported in a Bloomberg cover story. Phil Hooker said "the engine, the tools and the team we've built during this project will allow us to do things more quickly." He added that Rockstar can now build on this foundation and "go more sideways than upwards," while Aaron Garbut said "we're not going to rip it apart." GTA 6 arrives on November 19, eight years after Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018. The comparison given is Vice City, which followed GTA 3 in about a year because the groundwork was already done. Rockstar hasn't announced its next game, and the comments don't guarantee a quick turnaround, only that it won't take another eight years. #rockstargames #gaming #gta6 #newgame #gameplay
