@wearedigitaldiplomacy: US President Donald Trump’s new White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia raised eyebrows yesterday when she was asked where she passed the bar exam, telling reporters that she did so when she moved to China. Zacharia, who just minutes before debuted as Trump’s new top spokesperson in the White House briefing room, made the remarks on the South Lawn alongside Trump before heading to Alaska with him for a campaign rally. During her first briefing, she said: “I am so honored to work for President Trump and the American people as the new White House press secretary.” Zacharia, who replaced Karoline Leavitt after she decided to step down to spend more time with her family, added: “I want to thank President Trump for his trust that he has placed in me. I have wanted to work for him for a very long time. I’m looking forward to working with each of you as well, especially as we are in the middle of tha midtorm blitz with energy and excitement never seen before in the history of the midterms.” Thoughts? #diplomacy #digitaldiplomacy
