@prestonstew: Anduril rolls out their new modular surface to air missile system, the Steelfin

kgb :

How much of this is pure Profit ? I can’t comprehend the pricing

EventyrligDrikke :

Tolkien rolling over in his grave.

Khazrachan :

6-7...?

969 :

😭😭😂7 million per interceptor is not cheap most defenses require 3 interceptors per target which means 50 targets to shoot down would run us 1 billion USD just FOR 50 target

Ham Darly :

Without greedy companies that middle can be 1m or less

Aidan :

You said it yourself, it’s not for small drones and missile. It’s for cruise, hypersonic, and ballistics, which cost more than 7 mil

The Crusader :

You meant to say a thousand?

zachbradt.exe :

Love anduril, wish they would find a cheap interceptor solution

Steven V :

The price is supposed to be half of what we currently pay for 80% of the performance .

ihat31sra3l :

How much per unit? Huh

SilentMagica :

Companies out here just selling x wings and tie fighters to whoever has the money….

kraken :

Does this gonna appears on Silmarillion movies?

mikeBuildsMore :

How many million

markus ☭⃠ :

a radius based interceptor instead of projectile-based would probably be awesome. no i don’t mean an EMP

shnagz :

surely the most cost effective thing would be a short range/long range EMP? can't be a million miles away surely!

Brando :

Anduril, Flame of west. Reforged from the shards of Narsil.

Hotsauce 85 :

More important right now is the rate of production. How many per month can the factory roll out?

roswee04 :

How many billions?

🤷 :

67 😂😂😂

notachilles_ :

I thought we just made the new pac missile from Lockheed that’s low cost

Big_Igloo1776 :

ak_500_ :

Murica baby🇺🇸🦅🇲🇽🤙

Sam jones :

6 7

The Bigger Picture :

did you say could as in it's an idea, far from implementation. Well, if that's so then I could be a superhero with superpowers 😂😂😂.

UndiagnosedIdiot :

I mean can interceptors ever beat the cost of ballistic missiles? more complicated to intercept than it is to launch a missile on a ballistic arch.
