@thechanger.tv: A 10-year-old Azerbaijani girl, Karbalayi Khadija, has drawn attention with her strong message defending her right to wear the hijab and continue her education. Her statement comes amid growing controversy in Azerbaijan, where new school uniform rules introduced in September 2026 have led to protests after some hijab-wearing students and teachers were reportedly denied entry to schools. Although the rules do not explicitly ban the hijab, critics say they restrict religious expression and access to education. Khadija, who identifies herself as the daughter of a man who died as a martyr, says her hijab is a source of pride, not an obstacle to learning. For further details, visit The Changer’s website.
