@hustlersnthehood: Brittny Bagley was a young single mom living, working and going to school in three different Maryland counties when her transmission blew. "I had an Acura at the time and the transmission went up," she said. Her mother connected her with Vehicles for Change, a Baltimore nonprofit that gets reliable cars to families who need them. "It was a humongous helping hand when I needed it the most." Almost 20 years later, Brittny is the CEO of B.Luxe Event Rentals. It started as a journal entry and grew into a 10,000 square foot warehouse. Now she sits on the board of the same nonprofit that put her back on the road, and for the second year in a row she's producing its gala. And they need it. Car donations dropped so much that Vehicles for Change paused new applications until spring 2027. Since 1999 they've put more than 8,200 families in a car.
