That’s a very old model. My parents had that model years before I bought mine. I’ve had my LG for 13 years now and never had mold. I wonder what the issue is.

My Electrolux front loader is the best washing machine I’ve ever owned. Just don’t buy LG anything they are absolute trash!!

we use frontloaders everywhere outside the US. never had problems, probably to much soap, fabric softener, my filter is clean even after 6 months of washing, no soapy fats, grease, no bad smell from the washing machine. but hey if you want a toploader, we in the rest of the world ditched years ago, well but a toploader!!!

front loaders are the worst washing machines ever invented. they do not clean the clothes and they break. top loaders with an agitator are the best washing machines

I had the same washer…i did ALL the same maintenance as you-mine got a mildew smell too…no mold, but I had tge same issue. I loved it initially…I’m back with a top loader…

Mine is GARBAGE! I miss my top loader. They all collect gunk and hair and you need to clean it out constantly

My GE washer/dryer combo has been so good to me honestly. It reminds me when to clean it and I’ve never had a funky smell

Have you cleaned your filter recently? Front loaders need the filters emptied and cleaned out frequently. Things could be backing up in the filter causing all this gunk in the drum!

I run mine on the clean cycle and add about a cup of 30% vinegar and periodically use the cleaning tablets to keep it fresh.

bleekmiddel maakt niet schoon het verbleekt de vlek, mensen denken dat het schoon is bijvoorbeeld in de toiletpot maar het verbleekt het bruinige kalk, zodra je weer naar het toilet bent geweest komt diezelfde vlek weer terug, omdat die vlek alleen verkleurd, je spijkerbroek waar je bleekmiddel op doet verbleekt van blauw naar zogoed als een witte vlek! maar de spijkerbroek is er nog steeds! om een voorbeeld te geven! gewoon met azijn, het beste is voor dat je gaat slapen ivm dat het meer tijd heeft om het beter schoon te maken
