Congratulations you just listed the flaws of almost every form of human governance. My question is simply this. Why would you trust the government to have your best interest in mind all the time? What happens when you centralize power and have no legal way of actually changing it? Almost every system like that seems like it's good untill it's not. Im not sure who said this but it goes like this "the best form of governance is a dictatorship, but only in the case when the dictator has no flaws and is the most capable person for the job"...But more often than not, or always that's not the case. It seems efficient while it works but people are flawed and corrupted, the only way of having a long term system is to not centralize power.
