sukuna Sukuna was born over a thousand years ago during the Heian era, a time known as the golden age of jujutsu. Even before becoming the King of Curses, he was considered an extraordinary and terrifying sorcerer. ### 1\. His origins Sukuna was born as an unwanted child in an age filled with suffering. His unusual appearance and overwhelming strength made him feared by others. Over time, he became a ruthless sorcerer who lived entirely according to his own desires. He never believed he owed anyone kindness, loyalty, or compassion. To Sukuna, the strong had the right to do whatever they wanted, while the weak had no right to demand anything from them. ### 2\. The King of Curses During the Heian era, Sukuna became so powerful that even the greatest sorcerers struggled to defeat him. His immense cursed energy, extraordinary combat abilities, and Malevolent Shrine domain made him a legendary figure. Although he was called the King of Curses, Sukuna was originally a human sorcerer rather than a cursed spirit. His cruelty and overwhelming power earned him a reputation that survived for centuries. ### 3\. Becoming cursed objects After the end of his original life, Sukuna's power persisted through twenty indestructible fingers containing his cursed energy. These fingers became cursed objects, allowing his power to survive long after the Heian era. For centuries, sorcerers were unable to destroy them. Instead, they were preserved as dangerous relics. ### 4\. Meeting Yuji Itadori In the modern era, Yuji Itadori swallowed one of Sukuna's fingers to save his friends. This allowed Sukuna to awaken inside Yuji's body. However, Yuji possessed an extraordinary ability to suppress Sukuna and retain control. Sukuna was forced to share a body with someone he considered beneath him, and he constantly searched for opportunities to regain his freedom. Eventually, Sukuna found a way to transfer himself into Megumi Fushiguro, whose Ten Shadows Technique offered him a new opportunity to pursue his ambitions. ### 5\. The battle against Gojo After taking over Megumi's body, Sukuna faced Satoru Gojo, the strongest modern sorcerer. Their battle became one of the most significant confrontations in the series. Sukuna used Megumi's Ten Shadows Technique, including Mahoraga's adaptation, to overcome Gojo's Infinity. Sukuna ultimately won the battle, proving that even the strongest modern sorcerer could be defeated. However, the victory came at a cost, as Sukuna was subsequently forced to face the remaining sorcerers. ### 6\. The final battle Following Gojo's defeat, numerous sorcerers challenged Sukuna one after another. Despite suffering damage and facing techniques designed to counter him, he continued fighting with terrifying determination. Yuji eventually became central to the effort to defeat Sukuna. Their conflict represented more than a battle of strength: Yuji's belief in the value of human life directly opposed Sukuna's belief that strength alone determines one's worth. In the end, Sukuna was defeated, and his long reign of terror came to an end. ### 7\. Sukuna's final fate After his defeat, Sukuna encountered Mahito in a space resembling the afterlife. He was offered another chance to choose a different path, but Sukuna refused to abandon his nature. He acknowledged that he could have lived differently, yet he remained committed to the way he had chosen to live. His ending revealed that even someone as powerful as Sukuna could not escape the consequences of his choices. Sukuna's legacy: He was a sorcerer who pursued strength and pleasure above everything else. His story explores what happens when a person rejects compassion entirely and makes power the only principle worth following.
