Still soaking it all in. 🥹🤎 A room FULL of women living out their dreams, building businesses, creating generational wealth, and choosing to bet on themselves and somehow, I got to be one of them. Being one of the youngest women in the room made this experience even more surreal. An ALL-EXPENSE-PAID trip to New York City to begin this journey with Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business and NYU Stern. Like… WHAT?! 🗽✨ Three days of learning from incredible NYU Stern professors, meeting our business advisors, diving into curriculum that challenged the way I think about business, finances, leadership, and growth and building relationships with women from across the country who GET IT. There were so many moments where I just looked around the room and thought, “Wow… look at what happens when women are given the resources, education, community, and access to take their vision even further.” And the beautiful part? This was only orientation. 😭 Classes officially begin now, and between now and graduation in December, it’s time to do the DEEP work. To take everything I’m learning and actually apply it. To get uncomfortable. To look at the numbers. To strengthen the foundation. To think bigger. I came home inspired, challenged, grateful, and even more convinced that there is SO much more available to us when we’re willing to dream beyond what we can currently see. I can’t wait to see where my businesses are by December. 🚀 Cohort 10, we’re just getting started. 🤎✨
