In the Czech Republic, people get naked in public saunas and often it is specifically said that the sauna is a naked area and you put your towel underneath you

I was considering getting a cold water plunge pool, they are not very expensive so I can dip in after my sauna. Do you think there is big benefits in them as I usually sauna for 40-50 mins, have 10 mins sitting down to cool then grab a shower. Been thinking about one for a couple of months but still unsure 🙂

in Ireland it's a no. but if I'm with my Dutch friend and there's no one else we're happy to be naked. I don't get the issue TBF it's the latest sexual place ever. I remember going to a sauna in the Czech Republic in a town called Karlovy Vari (apologies if I messed up the name) and we weren't (my wife and I) allowed enter wth swimwear. towels were acceptable however. the locals were sitting on them. the two of us were under the towels. it's a cultural difference I guess

Same in Sweden, you ofc dont have to but I grew up with everyone being naked i never thought about it as anything sexual (although it was mostly just family or good family friends. We did everyone in one sauna.. 70 years old men and a 7 year old girl was normal until I got online and started hearing how mostly Americans look at stuff like ’dresscodes’)

Whatever the group is comfortable with, upfront. Personally I don't care and have no inhibitions.
