@zoe.sells0: Every price in this post came from @reclaimstuff. Garage sale season is not over and people are still sleeping on the tool tables. Everyone heads straight for furniture and dishes while a whole box of rusty looking tools sits untouched for a few bucks. That is exactly where the money is. I scanned six random tools at a garage sale with Reclaim (just snap a photo and it writes the listing and prices it off real eBay sold data) and the total came out to $362. A self leveling laser level that looked beat up turned out to be worth $107 on its own. A vintage Starrett combination square with a little surface rust priced out at $89. Even a basic pipe cutter and an old hand saw with a worn handle had real resale value once I actually checked instead of walking past. This is the whole reason I started flipping tools. Brand name power tools, vintage hand tools, anything made in the USA with a model number stamped on it, these are the things to check before you leave the table. Stop assuming rust and scuffs mean worthless and start scanning. If you thrift or hit garage sales and want to turn weekend finds into actual cash, this is your sign to start checking before you walk past. Save this for your next garage sale run. #garagesalefinds #reselling #thriftflip #toolcollector #ebayseller
