some scammers are getting better at this. something similar to me happened they almost had me till they mentioned getting gift cards for court bond 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️the phone number and court officer names matched and just how much info they knew about me and my family I texted my bf probably mid way through the scammers call he told me its scammers hang up I was like um.... babe then they said gift cards I was like yup im dumb

I had one like this about jury duty and warrents ect and I used an extra phone I had to call my police station while on the phone with them and they said "you have no warrants you dont even have a criminal record its a scam " and I had them on speaker the scammers yelled "F*CK YOU B!TCH" and hung up

There’s a Jason Statham movie called The Beekeeper that came out in 2024. In the movie, his landlady who was very poised and intelligent was scammed, including accounts she was in charge of for I think some charity. She was so overwrought she killed herself. Well, Statam’s character came at them with a vengeance.

Something similar happened to my mother. They told her not to tell anyone but she said she trusted me so she told me. I told her it was a scam and luckily she didn’t give them any money yet but she did give them her SSN so we filed a report and froze her credit and now she has an access code to do anything with her social now. It happens all the time unfortunately but she was so upset and mad at herself. Kept saying how stupid and gullible she was. I had to keep reassuring her it happens to lots of people

I saw an elderly lady on a video and she was putting $250,000 into a Bitcoin machine when the clerk called the police and the police took over the call and stopped her from continuing to put money in the machine.

Yes they did this to me a few weeks ago. As soon as they said go to the bank I got silent on the phone and buddy was going off on me! You can always call your county clerk office to confirm that you didn’t miss any jury duty summons.
