I did hear that he stood up. I remember the old Rollercoasters with the wooden tracks, people use to stand up with there arms up. Nobody stopped them from doing that back then. I remember the family and I when I was a little girl looking up in amazement at the kids back in the late 1960s standing up in their seats for a more exhilarating ride. My goodness some people. This was in Australia at a place called Luna Park. Back then the people operating the rides just let people do what ever they wanted. Of course the roller coasters where nothing like they are today and back then they didn’t race along the tracks at the spead they travel today and the ride only lasted a minute. Today the ride can last up to 5 minutes and they are much more wild then they were back then. It wasn until horrible accidents started happening on coasters that big restrictions about what you can and can’t do on these wild rides become compulsory. I think this man stood up that’s what some of the passengers were saying, that he actually physically stood up. He may have taken he’s own life. But taking he’s life in front of he’s child seems a bit bazaar.
