Wait you are complaining about cutting taxes, because the actual dollar amount was smaller for someone who make less than someone who makes more. That's called MATH that is how percentages work.

It’s going to pass because most people don’t understand how it’s going to screw them in the end. They just see tax cuts and assume that it benefits them.

As a county employee, I couldn’t feel this more! We’ve seen budget cuts for several years now because of the deficit. We can’t fund bridges, parks, animal shelters, tourism, schools, etc. if we keep making cuts! It’s impossible.

your missing a couple key points here. if they need 2/3 vote to change taxes, that means they also need that to raise taxes on the working class. when there is a budget shortfall, which there will be, it won't be as easy to tax us more. you're also not accounting for the amount of money paid in taxes by the rich. while i agree the system is flawed, you can't just tax the rich into oblivion, they still just leave the state. a flat income tax is about a fair as you can get for income tax because it costs less for those who make less. and there's a minimum threshold you have to meet before you effectively start paying.

A "yes" vote supports amending the state constitution to require a two-thirds vote of both chambers of the state legislature to pass a bill that would increase the individual or corporate income tax rate or create a new income tax. When you cut taxes, you cut services. The state will come from somewhere else. Roads, hospitals, emergency help ect.

Really millionaires save tens of thousands because they pay tens of thousands. I save maybe 500-1000 because I only pay a little bit. Flat tax is the only FAIR tax system!
