Great, another increase in tax that hits the low and middle class harder 🤦♀️

I understand why it’s needed but does this mean we will run out of Social Security faster? I thought this was was a concern to the point where they were wanting people to come off of it?

Why don’t they remove the taxable maximum and tax all income for the entire year?

contributing to social security should not be mandatory. I'm contributing to something that may not even be there for me to use by the time I need it, and that is not fair. and I want all my damn money back. got us millennials and younger paying for the older generations yet none of their money is going to be there to help pay for us.

They should make a minimum salary and if you are under it you don’t pay into ssi. Let’s be real, any minimum wage job should not have to pay into it. They aren’t making a livable wage.

it's good for another increase but they need to stop raising the rent for our elderly parents. they go up $75-$95 per year on elderly people and that makes it harder for them to survive

It should be much higher than that by now because everything has gone up since the 1950’s and people are still barely just making it!
