This mentality is very common in Asia. Even today, we have Asians eager to go to America or Europe. Wherever you are, you need to work. There is no free lunch, anywhere.

Im a Vietnamese came to UK in the 80s as ones of those wave of boat people settlement. At the beginning we did get helped from the government things like benefits and housing. From that we work hard and build a life same as any English person. of course nothing offered on a silver plates we have to save and better ourselves from whatever opportunity. Many Vietnamese at home look at the West thinking they can have whatever we Vietnamese overseas have simply by being here. And this is being taken advantage off by the people smuggler. saying you can be rich simply by working and job pay really high wages. And also they being lied to by the people who came back to Vietnam simply being showing off about themselves dont tell the truth. So the situation is being distorted and it not get properly educated on how life can be really like in the Western world. So they got the wrong ideas about immigration. Sorry its too long.

Illegal is illegal, people want to live better, if they can't change their country, the only thing they can do is try to change where they live. You can try to research more with VPN, but things are quite dire for a lot of Chinese people, at least AFD can be elected.

I'm 🇺🇸->🇩🇪 and I think the problem is immensely overstated. I wish the western world would stop stepping on much of the rest of the worlds' necks. Perhaps if we allowed countries to have their own resources and have good governments that represent their people, people would like and stay (or go) where they please. Then, we could all go sit in a circle somewhere and sing and celebrate peace. Were it so simple.

Why go to the US in the first place? I have lived in the US for a couple years and regularly go to China, my kids in China, have families in China and i can tell for sure, living in China is far better than the US in general
