@drautoimmune: #autoimmunedisease is largely in #women because of #estrogen and inflammation - #guthealth and #insulin are the two most consistent triggers driving the disease process. Question is, who is helping you identify and correct those problems? Likely not your PCP and certainly not your Rheum! Join me on our lives and send me a DM, we have solved this issue for 18 years and over 7,000 patients with functional medicine and individualizing care to solve root causes. We are here to let your health soar again! ~ Dr. Autoimmune

ITP sufferer here. Absolute torture. It ruins my life quite a lot. Platelet count is never above 30. Mainly 15-20. Sometimes single digits. I don’t drink or smoke. But stress is huge.

I’ve had traumatic arthritis since I was 25 years old. I was diagnosed with RA 5 yrs ago. It’s getting worse every year. I have now been diagnosed with osteoarthritis as well. I know I’m in perimenopause. When I went to my (male) PCP a couple years ago to talk to him about my symptoms he said I was too young and we could talk about it again in a couple years. I was 41. The symptoms have only gotten worse the past 3 years. Finally went to my OB in January and asked them about my symptoms. They ordered bloodwork, which I was unable to get done at the time (I owe the lab thousands of dollars because of all the rheumatology testing done over the years).

I was offered biologic treatment, but I don't want it. I was on Humira years ago, but I didn't feel any better on it. I need help. My latest tests also revealed another bacterium in my urine! I feel like my body is betraying me.

My obgyn suggested that I get tested for autoimmune diseases because I started menopause in my late 20s but my general doctor will not test me even after a trip to urgent care with stomach issues and was diagnosed with colitis.

Hello! I have three confirmed autoimmune conditions: ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease), Raynaud's syndrome, and Hashimoto's. On top of that, I also went through a *Clostridium* infection. I don't know what is happening to me 🥹.
