@news.trending7: Micah Parsons Says Jayden Daniels’ Clock Mistake May Have Cost Coach Dan Quinn His Job Micah Parsons has strong words about the ending of the Commanders-Giants game. On the Tuesday, Oct. 13 episode of his podcast, The Edge with Micah Parsons, the 27-year-old Green Bay Packers star talked about what happened on Sunday. Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels, 25, did not spike the ball in the final seconds of overtime. That left the team without enough time to try a potentially game-winning field goal. The game ended in a 27-27 tie. “Jayden Daniels probably cost my man Dan Quinn his job, to be honest with you,” Parsons said. He added, “I’m a big Jayden Daniels fan. But the reality is, he probably cost a lot of people their jobs this past weekend.” Parsons played for Quinn in Dallas, where Quinn was the defensive coordinator. He pointed out that this is Daniels’ third year and that he has played in an NFC Championship Game. “You’ve been in big moments before,” he said. Parsons called the mistake “inexcusable.” He also questioned whether Daniels should be paid “$60 million” in the future. Quinn, 56, was seen throwing his headset to the ground as time ran out. He then walked off the sideline. On Monday, Oct. 12, Quinn told reporters, “We work really hard on these, and it didn’t look like that yesterday.” He also said, “Trust me, everyone in this building, starting with me, feels that urgency.” Daniels has been dealing with a recurring elbow issue, which was made worse in a game against the Cowboys on Sept. 20. Parsons has not played this season while recovering from a torn ACL. Is Parsons being fair to Daniels? #micahparsons #jaydendaniels #new #commanders #nfl
