I have ADHD and it’s ruined my life. People talk all this stuff about it’s a gift…no it’s not…it’s a genetic abnormality triggered by childhood trauma…Ive see doctors 2x a month for the last 14 years and have heard it all — life goes on and I dislike ‘victim mentality’ but it’s a Illness for a reason.

I call it "But see for I have a system!". I just leave and arrive wherever at least 45 minutes earlier than I'm supposed to so I have sufficient time to torture myself inbetween.

My city in Germany has a possibility to send people to ADHD people to get the paperwork in Order. It's the department that takes care of people with some sort of deficiency and to integrate in city life. They make sure government buildings have wheelchair access and also stuff like this. In Germany without proper paperwork you will be lost. The city decided to cover ADHD and saw lives improve. If you are single and have ADHD go check if your city also has this. Might save you.
