@juliendurix: Back where it all began 🌍 Meet Nuru, the newest face from my World Faces series. Nuru means “light” in Swahili, a name that felt especially fitting for this portrait. Inspired by East Africa, where the World Faces journey began three years ago. Nature is everywhere in this piece, through warm landscapes, golden light and earthy tones blending into her face. I also wanted to keep parts of the painting more spontaneous, letting some brushstrokes stay raw, instinctive and visible. What does Nuru make you feel? 😊 On display at lesgaleriesbartoux #Nuru #WorldFaces #ContemporaryArt #PortraitArt #JulienDurix
