I am my best self when I have enough money to take care of myself AND enough to help friends. When I was unemployed & had to rely on everyone else I was the most depressed, angry version of myself I've ever met. I never want to feel like that again.

very true, money is more emotionally and psychological, your mindset and attitude around money are important. e.g the issue of growing up with nothing, now when you get money you constantly wanna satisfy the inner child/fill the gap from childhood, the edge to prove yourself to people.

My partner wants to enjoy himself when money is available and to me thats an opportunity to save, make sure that we don’t just lose the money. It sort of scares me how he handles money but when money feels uncertain im very unhappy and irritable
