I stopped using instacart. door dash and Uber eat is faster without the extra delivery service and most of them are my instacart shoppers.

I used to love instacart, until they deactivated my account as a shopper when I tried taking a picture of myself for face verification to use the app and it was too dark in my car. I failed twice and they locked my account and then deactivated it saying I let someone else use my account. Then there's literally no way to scream to the world I got screwed over and they were making a mistake. I was a great shopper too and I don't brag ever, but they did me so dirty.

I love the friendly reminder to hit my fiber goal today, but here’s my friendly reminder to you, Instacart… Fix your broken batch offering system. I’m here first. Other shoppers pull up and immediately get $100+ batches One gets $158 My screen? Nothing. Same store Same shoppers Same struggle Instacart expects me to work 5 to 7 hours to make what someone else makes in one batch. Meanwhile, Instacart knows its own Support error has affected my account and Cart Star status for months, has the proof, and still refuses to fix it. That mistake is costing me thousands of dollars a month So how is it acceptable to pay some shoppers 3x to 5x more while expecting me to do more work for less? At this point, Instacart doesn’t look fair. Living the Instacart Li(f)e - Year 2 - Day 390. Instead of a friendly reminder to hit our fiber goal today, how about a friendly reminder to offer support to your shoppers that you’ve been ignoring? Hey Instacart, when are you going to fix my account you all messed up? It’s causing 75% less pay weekly. I’m out thousands of dollars monthly due to your negligence. What’s the deal? Why is it taking months and months and months to get fixed? Anybody else tired of watching everyone else make in 2 hours what it takes you 8 hours to make? Today I’m averaging about $9 an hour. $7.65 an hour so far for the week. Other shoppers? $30 to $45 an hour. Them, $40 - $55 an hour for the week. Same day. Same work. Completely different pay. I’ve done double the orders and batches and I’m still sitting at about half of what other shoppers have made. Instacart, how does that make sense? Because constantly feeding some shoppers $300 to $500 days while others work twice as hard for scraps isn’t fair pay. It’s exhausting. It’s demoralizing. And it makes shoppers feel completely disposable. Meanwhile, other shoppers are already on their 4th high-paying batch! 2 shoppers over $600 3 over $500 8 over $400 11 over $300 Me? Not even enough to cover expenses. AGAIN! Daily reminders to hit fiber goals, but what about daily reminders for you to offer fair paying batches instead of having just a few of us work for 30% of the pay, but more than double the work? 3.5 HOURS IN and I’m still nowhere near a THIRD of what other shoppers have made. Several are already at $300+ Highest is at $562 Meanwhile, I just delivered roughly 325 pounds worth of product and I’m still getting paid a fraction of what they are. Same heavy orders Same hard work Way less money Instacart has no problem feeding some shoppers huge batches all day while expecting others to work twice as hard for a fraction of the pay. Living the Instacart Li(f)e - Year 2 - Day 391. Again, you wanna talk about meeting our daily fiber goal, but the biggest question is… WHY ARE YOU STEALING MY TIPS INSTACART? And when you reach out to chat support about it, they claim it was paid accurately, even though the customer has proof and said otherwise then they just hang up on me. Here we go again… 6 HOURS GONE. STILL NOT EVEN A THIRD OF WHAT A LOT OF OTHER SHOPPERS HAVE MADE. And somehow the batches sent to me keep looking better on paper than they really are. 13 miles sounds reasonable until 8 of those miles takes 28 minutes. Low pay Long drive times More wasted time Less money Then today, 2 customers I personally know told me they tipped more than what Instacart showed me. So now I have another question: @Instacart , are you withholding tips or misreporting tips from Platinum and lower shoppers? You say shoppers keep 100% of customer tips Then where is the transparency when customers say they tipped more than what appears in my earnings? Living the Instacart Li(f)e - Year 2 - Day 395. Being homeless is just around the corner. I’m literally counting the days. Before you talk about daily fiber goals how about paying your shoppers? Well enough to be able to afford food? Why, you might ask? Because Instacart is paying some shoppers $300, sometimes $500 a day, while I’m barely able to make $100 a day. The batches are out there. But some shoppers keep getting fed the best ones, while others get funneled the worst of the worst. No reason. No explanation. No transparency. And what makes it worse? Instacart is the main reason I’m in this position, and they still refuse to fix the mess they created with my account. So @Instacart , honestly: Would YOU take these horrible offers and accept making around $8 an hour while watching other shoppers at the same store make $50–$70 an hour? Others are already back for their third high-paying batch. Me? Nothing but the worst offers Instacart can find. Bills are due. I can barely afford to eat. I’m 10 days away from potentially being homeless. And @Instacart knows there are problems with my account. They’ve acknowledged it. They’ve said they would fix it. Yet I’m still waiting. At what point does fixing a shopper’s account become more important than watching them lose everything? No more male shoppers or just go back to how you used to do things when you first started . Back then you Made any applicant do a group Panel shopping interview and literally a group of us would get tested on tech efficiency . Then we came to a random store (50 of us ) and was told to shop 20 items in less then 15 minutes . If u did not get the exact items or the best subs U WERENT GETTING THE JOB . U guys lose so much money and so much customers because ur shoppers are so terrible and most don’t speak English so they throw anything . It’s literally only negative things #instacartshoppers
