A Poem for Autumn 🍂
The autumn breeze whispers softly by the window,
Golden leaves drift gently to the ground,
Like tender letters, one by one,
From an autumn far away.
Gentle rain falls, lingering and tender,
Nourishing the earth, soothing the heart.
The summer heat slowly fades away,
As a season of ripeness arrives, peaceful and warm.
Fruits hang heavily from the branches,
Golden sunlight grows softer and warmer.
Wild geese fly south in orderly formations,
Beneath a deep blue sky, clear and vast.
Falling leaves are not an ending, but a beginning,
Returning to the soil to nurture next year’s stories.
Autumn is a book lying open,
Filled with grace, filled with poetry.
