I think the braid tails can be a little more exaggerated and dramatic like this? can compliment her bangs too if they have a little bouncy shwoop. and the lady on the left's posture feels really stiff, but I think just the anatomy being touched up can make that stiff look work! and feel a little more elegant in a way instead? head lifted more, feet together, can tell she really has control of her posture even while she's focused on sewing that kid's hat. and with the rope comment, I think it's a bit of a stretch and that instead the fabric can stick out a little more like on the edges of actual clothes. gives a bit more expression to the fabric without being too drastic with changes. 🦎

People are mad at her for having notes on the person’s drawing who PAID her to do that exact thing. They want her opinion to improve because they think her opinion is worth it probably after seeing her work and deciding she is qualified/has similar art style

Guys, everyone chill, it is her job to give these criticisms and the artists consented to her feedback. I have an illustration degree and while I was always just as frustrated and annoyed by my lecturers telling me to cut some of the details or alter some of it in ways that made me feel it was less fun, they explained to me 'Imagine this is a character you're designing for a game/animation. It needs to read instantly at a small scale as well as be easy to animate, so unfortunately sometimes that means heavy simplification or exaggeration. Absolutely keep the 'fun' design as a reference point or an original concept for the portfolio, but as an artist you have to know when it's time to kill your darlings for the sake of coherence.'
