I’ve heard so many horror story’s with having a toddler and a newborn😬 Im having my 2nd baby soon and im actually thankful my daughter will only 20 months bc i feel like its less risky vs having a full on toddler & having a new born in the house at the same time 😅 my sister has a 3 year old and she recently slapped her 5 month old baby brother and my sister was so shocked and didn’t even know to handle the situation so i wont be having my 3rd anytime soon bc of this 😂

one of my babies first foods was spaghetti sauce with honey in it. he was 5 1/2 months. he had just started crawling and found a spoon on the floor that my toddler threw down when eating..all happened within seconds and I've never heard of honey being in spaghetti sauce but the one time I bought a jarred trader joes sauce that happened and it did.. I checked the ingredients directly after it happened and it said HONEY. I was so worried lol 😅. he ended up being fine and he loves spaghetti now 😆

Good job! I’d maybe reiterate that babies only eat with adults for a variety of reasons, because the teeth topic is valid for him😂 Also, they don’t need teeth to eat. But they do need to be monitored for allergies & choking. I tell my kids they could die all the time, they need to know!

Also, just so you know for an immune system to react to an allergen such as peanuts, it needs to be exposed prior and build the antibodies first. So usually it takes a few times of trial for a peanut allergy to be ruled out. So still keep an eye when the time comes.

I saw someone post a similar story in a comment with peanut butter and an even younger baby and everything was okay. It really helped my postpartum anxiety at the time lol.
