We are in Bali right now they are in fuel crisis, no taxis available or scooters for hours. we waited stuck over 2.5 hours in a local restaurant/family home and they gave us dinner drinks, wifi and fruit for £2 (50k rupiah) we finally got a car and we gave the family 300k for their hospitality, and the taxi driver did not try to overcharge despite the fuel crisis. So naturally we tip double. Balinese people friendliest in the world, don’t haggle and don’t ask for more, they even try and give you back money when tip sometimes. 🇮🇩💖
