So abductors always at the beginning of my workout, not the end?

you feel it more because you already fatigued your glutes😁 to „feel“ is not a factor of „more musclegrowth“ starting with the compound movement will always be better since u need the most energy for it. yeah most of the time you feel your muscles because u probably already trained them before your new set.

the burn is real but it's not extra glute stimulus. studies on fatiguing a muscle before a compound show activation of the target muscle doesn't go up, you just lose reps on the main lift (Trindade 2019, Soares 2016). you're feeling leftover burn, not more growth 🤷

There's no such thing as "activating" the muscle, you're just tiring it. Always start by hiptrust so you can lift the heaviest weights possible

I'd always do high weight on the hip thrusts but I would never feel it in my glutes like i did with lower weight and now i do low weight, more reps, eat my proteine and my glutes DOUBLED in size. Like they are huge now. And it used to be FLAT.

Feeling your glutes isn’t really indicative of glute performance

I always lift heavy first. Bc my legs and glutes feel to fatigued if I don’t do them first. I’ve been seeing results so I’m gonna stick to doing my hip thrusts first 😅

Ya I like to do them before abductions as well. I find that also prevents soreness in abductors lmao

I don’t know I always do hip trust first and I have the worst warm-up ever just a couple leg swings back forth. You know on a little bit of arching the ass basically and I always feel it in my glutes. I guess Glute dominant or I don’t know, I feel like my former is shit, but I never feel anywhere else other than my glutes

u can apply this logic to chest, if u do a set of peck decks till failure and u superset it with a set of inclined bench press. That’s what Mike Mentzer called pre-exhaustion, because when u bench the first muscles to give up are ur arm an shoulder muscles not the chest, if u apply a lot of intensity in ur training u’ll grow a lot trust
