@ashamaan7: #22YearsOld Dananeer Mobeen is playing Hurmat in the new HUM TV drama Hurmat. And you are 100% right - it's a very realistic story. In the drama, Hurmat is a girl who is kept like a prisoner in her own house by her father. She is not even allowed to go to university or look outside. She is just asking for basic freedom, not luxury. This is what happens in real life too: What the parents are doing: 1. They keep misbehaving / controlling the child 2. They don't provide emotional support - they think just giving food and a roof is enough 3. They run away from their own problems - instead of solving their issues, they take out all their frustration on the child How it affects the child: It completely destroys her mental and physical health. She becomes anxious, depressed, loses confidence, can't sleep properly, and starts feeling like she has no identity. The dialogue in the teaser says it all: _"A woman gets a surname twice - once at birth, and the second time when she gets married."_ It shows how Hurmat has no identity of her own. That's why her acting is feeling so real to you - because she is showing that silent pain that many girls in our society go through.
