@nickdavaei: 🚨 IMMIGRATION UPDATE – USCIS ENDS AUTOMATIC WORK PERMIT EXTENSIONS! Effective October 14, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has finalized its rule eliminating automatic extensions of Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) for certain applicants. Under this policy, individuals who filed EAD renewal applications on or after October 30, 2025, generally no longer qualify for the previous automatic extension of up to 540 days while their applications remain pending. This means that many applicants could face interruptions in their employment authorization if USCIS does not approve their renewals before their current work permits expire. Importantly, qualifying automatic extensions based on applications filed before October 30, 2025, remain valid, and certain exceptions, including TPS-related extensions, continue to apply. Applicants are strongly encouraged to file their renewals as early as permitted to avoid employment disruptions. 🇺🇸 ⚖️ Law Office of Nick Davaei To schedule an appointment for consultation, please visit us at: www.ndlawcenter.com 🇺🇸🇺🇸 . . #uscis #immigrationupdate #immigrationnews #workpermit #immigrationhelp
