It opens in Chat, so switch it over to Code. 3. Make a folder on your computer. Mine is called My Boss Editor. 4. Select the folder: Local, then Open folder. That's your workspace. 5. Copy these GitHub repositories: • FFmpeg: every cut, crop, mix, mute and render · github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg • faster-whisper: word-level transcription every cut is placed against · github.com/SYSTRAN/faster-whisper • Whisper: OpenAI's speech model that faster-whisper runs · github.com/openai/whisper • yt-dlp: downloads the source video · github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp • OpenCV + contrib: follows whoever is talking in the vertical crop · github.com/opencv/opencv and github.com/opencv/opencv_contrib • Puppeteer: headless Chrome that renders the captions and titles to video · github.com/puppeteer/puppeteer • HyperFrames: agent-built motion graphics from HTML · github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes 6. Prompt Claude and give it the links: "You are my short form editor. Here are all the GitHub links to help you do your job." 7. Find an edit you like and send it: "I like the style of this reel. Can we duplicate this style and use it for a video of mine?" 8. Shoot your video. 9. Send it to Claude. Copy the path of the file and paste it in. 10. Review it and use your voice to edit. Bonus: turn it into a skill. "Hey, turn this into a skill." Next time it knows the process. This was not me going into a timeline. Claude edited it in the same list style as the reel I sent it.
