I think people equate “washing once a week” to not cleaning your hair the rest of the week, he’s obviously washing it through with water, he only uses shampoo once a week which a majority of people are overwashing their hair way too much anyways

once a week is not a problem if u condition it and clarify enough, I have the healthiest hair around me, been washing it once a week the past 5 years and it looks and feels great (washing too often dries it out, especially if u have curly hair I found)

Washing your hair once/twice a week with shampoo is fine your not meant to wash your hair everyday with shampoo just rinse it with water and wash when greasy or dirty
