When I was 15 I had to move to my dads who was on disability at $900 a month. When I moved there he tried to get food stamps to feed us both on a fixed income. They offered $68 a month. He tore up the paper work and threw it in their face. From that day on I knew the system only worked one way. And we weren’t part of it. Which is fine because I figured out real quick how to take care of myself without govt assistance of any kind. I’ll stand on that the rest of my life. The govt shouldn’t be depended on on any form of basic life
