Our country is absolutely fucking up the permanent time changes. Standard time scientifically gives us a great deal more awake sunlight hours, which is the actual point. People are aligning geographically or just making it up at this point.

As someone from North Western Ontario, we're five hours from Thunder Bay, TWENTY-some hours from Toronto, but only two hours away from Winnipeg! It just makes so much more sense to be aligned with Manitoba than to sit in a tiny hour-behind divit where everyone to the east AND west of us are an hour ahead!

finally!!!! this time change is b.s all it does is mess with you. no matter what your going to get the amount of sun and dark regardless. the animals don't know time change they get up no matter what with the sun whenever it comes up and when it sets they go to sleep. get away with this nonsense
