@keepitunfiltered: In B.C., driving below the speed limit can still get you a $196 ticket. With shorter days, wet roads and reduced visibility, BC Highway Patrol is reminding drivers that posted speed limits are based on ideal conditions. Under Section 144(1)(c) of B.C.’s Motor Vehicle Act, drivers can be fined for travelling too fast for the conditions, even if they’re under the posted limit. October’s Drive Relative to Conditions campaign also includes increased enforcement. Drivers are urged to slow down, leave extra stopping distance and watch for pedestrians, especially in the dark and rain. 🚗🌧️ Are B.C. drivers doing enough to adjust their driving habits as fall weather sets in? #BritishColumbia #BCHighways #RoadSafety #Vancouver #BCThings
