There’s a clip of CAI a few years ago praising Val for being “creative” having the troupe lift his partner instead of him. CAI polices lifts only sometimes which is the weird part.

so why can there be bias with tyler but we can’t with connor? when tyler is so stiff and not progressing in the same way connor is?!? like i’m srry but tyler’s wasn’t an 8. we’re comparing connor, tyler and jackson because they’re all men with no dance experience. connor has made the most progress, all of tyler’s dances are stiff and he’s off in some way. but i vote for all 3 so

Jena's "I didnt lift him" comment low key makes sense when CAI told Val in a previous season that because HE wasnt the one to lift Saylor, they were legal lifts. I dont think she was wrong to call out the lift last night but I understand Jena's side too in this case. if her husband found the loophole and got away with it, why couldnt she?

okay quick question- Jenna and Val did a Paso Doble which isn't allowed to have lifts but there were twice where both feet left the floor with the assistant of her partner. Shouldn't those be considered lifts? Genuine question.
