The water is very cold but so gorgeous!!! The island itself closes after Labor Day, but you can still hike near the waterfall and paddle! It reopens Memorial Day. Leave no trace always. No trash ever left behind! Be kind to those around you. It can get busy down here on popular days! Kayak and swim here but beware; the water is freezing cold! Stay safe and happy trails. 💙 Fall colors are gorgeous here! *Idaho state parks cost $7 to visit for the day. You can see all of them nearby all for the one day pass!
