once it leaves the tank and enters the fuel system, it's all gotta be fixed. Stuff needs to be oulawed. That's why it goes in plastic tanks and lines. It'll eat metal.

Ouch!! I wish we could do away with DEF all together. Every diesel engine has issues with DEF. It crystallizes in fuel tanks and its only a matter of time when you have a clogged exhaust filter.
