Being a woman in your 30s who’s happily child free and newly sober is nuts - everyone is so inquisitive and suspicious you’re pregnant/trying, then confused when you’re not and want to know why you’re sober then. So I’ve learned from the very beginning to politely explain “Well my drinking was making me want to kms most weeks, so I thought it was for the best?” It’s really good at stopping people asking more.
