If I see “the troupe lifted him so by definition it doesn’t count” one more time I’m gonna flip out. She’s very obviously using the ballroom competition where it’s ONLY you and a partner so there would be no troupe to lift someone up. There are no lifts in certain styles these pros know she dings that they need to stop putting lifts in those dances
