Now that I’ve seen multiple takes on this I might side with her being a little over reactive and aweming somewhat entitled…. Idk. It’s hard because the video doesn’t have sound, but at the end of the day she is famous, they don’t have to sell the bird to her. They suggested other birds? The employee may not have even known who Kelly Clarkson is. But I don’t think Kelly needed to use her platform to throw shade at a small business. Unless I’m missing something else….🫣

I’m team toy store. 99% of us could never afford a $15,000 toy bird. Guaranteed that guy jokingly said something flipping about how expensive that one is and that he could show her something else that’s more affordable because 99% of us would balk at that price. But she’s not the 99%. And she’s on her high horse and doesn’t expect to be treated like the rest of us.

I’m just so anti-drama unless someone’s livelihood is involved or worse their life. If I were Kelly, I would’ve laughed it off and maybe even made fun of the fact I looked homeless. The owner is clearly an ass but what else is new? She should’ve just let it go. It shows a bit of insecurity but you know - each to their own.

the bird was attached to a wall. of course that one isn't for sale but they can make or find "a comparable one" per her quotes. kelly wanted the celebrity treatment and acted spoiled and the whole internet is simping for her over a five min encounter in a store

I keep seeing conflicting reports on this story. Genuinely hard to know what to believe. However, I think there is something to be said about no matter what happened, it’s kind of weird that someone like Kelly Clarkson, with millions of followers and her own TV show, would post about it either way. Obviously, she has the right to do so. I just find it strange that that’s the hill she wanted to die on.

The only person who has made this worse it is Art Of Play and their response. She accused them of being rude and condescending. Since then all of their communication has been rude and condescending. They have given us no reason to believe them. Releasing the tapes with no audio that supports everything she says is just mind blowing. Where was the alleged call to the artist? It’s so infuriating that people don’t get this up in arms about the insane things the American federal government says and does is maddening.
