@conniesweets: Ingredients Cake * 1 large organic lemon, whole * 1 cup granulated sugar * 2 cups all-purpose flour * ½ teaspoon salt * 1½ teaspoons baking powder * 1 teaspoon baking soda * 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted * 2 large eggs, room temperature * ½ cup sour cream, room temperature * 1 cup fresh blueberries * 2 tablespoons flour (for coating blueberries) Glaze * ½ cup powdered sugar * 2 tablespoons milk Instructions 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the whole lemon and boil for 5–10 minutes until tender. Remove and allow to cool completely. Remove any seeds. 2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray and line with parchment paper. 3. In a blender, combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, whole lemon, eggs, and sour cream. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. 4. Wash and thoroughly dry the blueberries. Toss with 2 tablespoons of flour until evenly coated. 5. Pour ⅓ of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with blueberries. Repeat with another ⅓ of the batter and more blueberries. Finish with the remaining batter and blueberries. 6. Pour the melted butter down the center of the loaf. Using a knife, make a deep slit through the center where the butter was poured. 7. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 1 hour. Carefully remove it and let it cool for another hour. 9. For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the completely cooled loaf. Slice, serve, and enjoy! #fyp #fypシ #lemon #cake #viral
