I’m a twenty something y/o mom who started school pregnant & breastfeeding with two kids. nursing is my second career from speech therapy. safe to say it was worth it because tuition was $46 this semester at my community college RN program 😳 I chose this over private entry masters programs and ABSNs programs, and I’m glad I did because I’m only in class 2x week and school is 10 mins from me. Again, I looked into the private programs, CSUs, and UCs but it wasn’t a good fit for me because I was looking for 1) work-life balance, 2) debt-free, 3) good clinical placements, 4) local school to me.
