the fridge thing is hilarious to me bc my man is 6’2 and I was talking bout how it pisses me off that he can see on top of our fridge like her down from there tf (I am 5’2)

I worked at journeys and one time this family came in to get their son shoes, he commented that he liked the single use nylon socks we give out, and the father mocked him for it endlessly asking him if he wanted to be a girl, calling him a ballerina, etc. it was ugly 💔 I see it too as a bartender now. they can’t drink pink drinks, can’t use a straw or certain glassware for fear or being perceived as feminine.

My son is 6’5. His dad 6’4 and he can’t play. People don’t realize height has nothing to do with talent. As he was growing up I told off a lot of people that encouraged him to play ball. I didn’t want him to be stereotyped or made to feel he had to play for someone else’s hoop dream.
