@victoriaaa1256_: i believe that God gives us so many opportunities to reflect on His love through the way we care for people around us, especially in our homes. with that being said, serving my husband is one of the many ways i get to worship the Lord. And no that doesn’t mean i worship my husband, I worship Jesus who will always be first in my life. so whether it’s cooking a meal, packing lunch, praying for him, offering encouragement, or taking care of the little things that often go unnoticed, even the simplest acts can bring glory to God when our hearts are in the right place. In Colossians 3:23 we’re reminded to work wholeheartedly in everything we do as though we’re doing it for the Lord rather than doing it for people. Jesus himself the ultimate example of humble selfless service. we are called to follow his example by loving others with humility and grace. marriage is never supposed to be a relationship where one person gives while the other constantly receives. we are both called to love, honor and serve one another.
