They’re killing small business in Australia too. They just removed the ability for small business to charge the customer the cost that banks charge them for credit card transaction fees.

I completely agree. Protecting the environment is essential, but we must also protect the small businesses that keep our economies alive. When a multinational and a family business face the same expensive compliance procedures, the rules may look equal on paper, but the consequences are anything but equal. And perhaps the greatest danger is that we slowly create a world where only giant corporations can afford to operate. A different approach is proposed in Articles 3275 and 3276 of Luc Arden's LIBERTALIA — THE WAY TO LIBERTY, Book III, Volume III: preserve environmental and safety protections, but make compliance proportionate to the size and actual risks of each business. Because real progress should protect both our planet and the people trying to make an honest living on it.

Big corporate control, pushing out the small guys. The elites want the super wealthy divide larger to the rich now, soon the rich will be forced into the middle class.

The problem is as a small business you are not generating enough tax, so they are going to make it harder for you. You have to be one of the few larger multinational companies that has the government in your back pocket to get away with illegal tax evasion.

Just a question in the UK we already pay for packaging to be recycled. I presume the EU has a similar system as well, so once again being taxed for something we already pay for.
