Your feelings are valid, and being 27 and still living with your parents doesn't make you a failure I think. But having both parents alive at 27, especially parents who provide you with shelter and support, is a blessing that I think is often overlooked. Some of us lost our parents young and would give anything to have them back. The loneliness of navigating life without parents, having nobody to fall back on, and having to figure everything out on your own is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. So while I understand your feelings, I hope you also recognise the blessing of still having your parents around..
