Avoidants need to just NOT get involved with anyone. I'm still dealing with the fall out. Tried to be friends with him. He wanted to come with me and support me at my marathon and acted all excited and then just didn't come through. After his last text disappointing me, I just didn't respond. I just decided I was done. He couldn't show up and be in a relationship when we were a couple, why did I think he could show up for me as a friend? I'm just done. So done!
