@shanajray: Imagine being almost 40 and still being told you don’t know what you want out of life. 🥴 Meanwhile, I’m finally building the life I’ve dreamed about since I was a little girl. I’ve spent years trying to do what I thought I was supposed to do. Following expectations, putting parts of myself aside, and trying to make certain paths work even when they didn’t feel right for me. But I’m learning that there’s a difference between living and simply doing what everyone expects of you. These last few years have taught me SO much about myself. I’m remembering old dreams, rediscovering passions, creating more, and giving myself permission to explore the things I’ve always wanted. And honestly? Some days, I feel like I’m giving my younger self the life she always imagined. 🥹💕 I know what I want. I know what I don’t want. I’m firm in my values, my vision, and the direction I’m moving in. I’m not sacrificing my happiness, my creativity, or my future to fit into someone else’s expectations. I’m not starting from scratch. I’m building from everything I’ve learned. And this time, I’m doing it my way.
