GOD rest that person’s soul 🙏. Port drivers are the worse, they pick up the containers from the ports going wherever and they can care less about safety. I lost a good buddy, old coworker of mine, Billy, he was in a car carrier tow unit going north on the I-5 just before Parker Rd exit, a container hauling semi had broken down in the travel lanes at night, the semi driver never bothered to put out road reflectors, no flashing hazard lights, Billy was driving, didn’t see it, hit the back of the trailer so hard, the impact caused the chassis of the tow unit to go under the rig while the cab was sheared off killing Billy on impact.
